the battle scars of life we fight
to sit and watch our skin spew blight
we stare to our fresh scars of life

: the colour version of obliterate that I didnt decide belonged in my scraps :
: though i coloured this without my tablet, it still turned out how I wanted i think so enjoy :
Mmm, i like the colour. Although the black n' white n' red makes an impact, after a lot of them you tend to be a little dulled to it.. with more "normality" this one struck me a little more.
*grin* Not much to say except, thanks. And so far you're the only one to comment on any 3 of my submissions for obliterate. I feel like killing the dA community.. brb.
I know how you feel there my statistically most commented on submission is a joke I did for a laugh. Says it all, really, I try my best not to pay attention to the ppl.
aah, you did a colour version (sorry about how slow i am with messages...i'm not really so motivated about DA atm)
really, i feel i prefer the black and white version because b&w is always more emotive, plus i find it more "angsty" and i feel that is what your art is all about. colour seems to dilute the feeling a bit. although i do like how you have coloured it and the very dark and pale tones you have used as they work quite well in the picture. (ignore me if i make no sense or you dont like this comment...or just in general perhaps. its not such a great day. sorry for writing so much crap)
colour is an important reality of our world, however distorted and misused.
stop being such a sook about whether or not I like the comment, it makes enough sense
but more so - it makes sense to you which matters more. whatever the problem is
just chill and take it one breath at a time
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
